Missouri Chamber announces plans to expand development efforts for its political action committee
The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry has contracted The Rocket Group to manage development efforts for its political action committee.

“We are excited to expand our efforts of protecting businesses in Missouri by strengthening development and employer outreach efforts in the political arena,” said Daniel P. Mehan, president and CEO of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “By increasing our PAC resources, we will become an even stronger force, helping place more pro-jobs candidates in the Missouri Legislature. At a time when acute focus is on job creation, it is imperative that employers and voters learn which candidates will commit to growing our economy: Missouri Chamber PAC will do that.”
The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the state’s largest and most effective statewide business advocacy group, representing Missouri employers before the Missouri Legislature, courts and regulatory agencies. The Missouri Chamber has been the lead advocate of the “Fix the Six” legislative priorities introduced this legislative session, which include holding the line on business expenses and taxes, leveling the playing field for employers in court, and reforming workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance systems.
“This is going to be a program that requires support of Missouri Chamber members, large and small,” said Gus Wagner, president and owner of The Rocket Group. “Our outreach programs will include everyone who wants and needs to be included as we fund the promotion and protection of Missouri’s business climate.”
Based in Jefferson City, MO, The Rocket Group (www.RocketGroupLLC.com) has a decade-long history of marketing and management of issues relating to business, politics, and government. The company has won several awards and commendations for web development and communications.
The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry (www.mochamber.com) was founded in 1923 and is the largest statewide business organization in Missouri, representing almost 3,000 employers, providing more than 425,000 jobs for Missourians.
