As I am an import to this community, I kept looking for ways to get involved or find things to do. Finally, I decided to put on my marketing hat, harness the power of the interwebs and social media and created JeffCityLive.com.

After less than three weeks, we have a combined social media and email list reach of more than 500. Our average impression rate for Facebook message views is more than 400. All through word-of-mouth and the hunger for an information portal like this for our community.

 We are currently at Phase 2.5 of a percieved 6 Phase roll-out for this project.
