Earlier this spring, our clients and associates at The Beenders Walker Group here in Jefferson City involved us in a local election issue in Pike County, Missouri.

Since our beginning we have been involved in political campaigns, more than 185 since 2001, and this anti-tax increase issue fit our skillset perfectly.

Our contributions and involvement were in graphic design, ad development, message development, project management, and political consulting. The hard copy items we developed were a series of newspaper ads and a direct mail piece.

Given a limited budget, a short time frame, and a small population covering a large geographic area we felt these were the best ways to reach our voters.

The issue was defeated at the polls by a nearly 80%-20% turnout in our favor.The good people have Pike County have been saved from higher trash bills related to tax increases!
